Le Marina - L'Île-Rousse

We stayed in Ile Rousse during September 2021 and after we couldn‘t get a place in U Spuntinu, we wandered around and ended up in Le Marina. The food (and I do know about good food, believe me) was beyond description, especially for the price asked. Service was unfriendly, hectical and wouldn’t speak with us. My friend ordered a vegetable pizza which was sloppy, as if raw in the middle. I had Linguini with Corsican Cheese. The pasta was overcooked, the sauce smelled like cheese but had no taste and consisted mainly of cream and water. I had to add salt to make it taste like anything. We wanted to tell the guy but they didn‘t even ask for an opinion on the food. We asked for the bill, left and didn‘t tip as it was a horrendous dinner. Food comes VERY quickly, and service is a little slow when it comes to getting the bill and trying to leave. Food is OK, but there are much better restaurants further into town.

Nothing is cheap in this town but if you want to take the children out for dinner then this place would be OK. The pizza bases are not real but are well topped but the main courses did not live up to our expectation or price. Fast but very casual service and uncomfortable chairs. Right next to a children's play area so not a great relaxed place for couples

Je confirme les mauvaises impressions des autres touristes : tant pour mon épouse que pour moi même le poisson était sec (trop cuit ?) Le plat de fromage trop chiche... A plus de 50€ à 2 on devrait quand même bien manger.C'est la seule mauvaise expérience culinaire à l'ile Rousse sur 12 jours de séjour. . . Pour une fois que je n'avais pas consulté tripadvisor avant !En revanche l'accueil était satisfaisant comme la prévenance entre chaque plat.J'ai apprécié la soupe du menu.

L'entrecôte était très bonne. Le menu est correct, la salade Marina était bof et la Calzone était petite et bof. Les serveurs sont très sympa.
