I always drink a biggest size and this **** taste like cheap milk tea I recommend presotea literally a cote de L2 i won 't try it again
Oooh I love me a good bubble tea. L2 is probably one of the better chains for bubble tea (in my opinion, we all have our loyalties of course). There is sometimes quite a bit of a line at this place, like when we went. The ordering is fairly straightforward, and all the options are listed on the big signboard. Service was a bit slow when we went but otherwise fine. I got a lychee tea with tapioca and grass jelly. It was very tasty! If I was a wealthier woman I'd definitely drink bubble tea more often (and probably end up with cavities and more adipose tissue, but whatever). I'll come back when I'm in the neighborhood and the craving strikes again.
Water melon drink tastes like water. I am not coming back. They barely put any water melon it the drink. I am very disappointed .
Last time I went to an L2 lounge, it was back in high school. We used to go chill at the chinatown L2 all the time. It wasn't because the drinks were amazing or anything. It was mostly because it was one of the only bubble tea places in Montreal. My younger self used to love their artificial powder milk teas, it was sweet and that was the taste I craved back then. My older present self saw this L2 lounge and wanted to give it a try after all these years. Not a fan of artificial flavors and coloring anymore, so I got the oolong milk tea with lite sugar and tapioca. One word: sweet. Even with less sugar, it was awfully sweet and you can't taste even taste the oolong. The only thing I liked about it is the taste of childhood. As for the place itself, the first thing you notice when you go in is the stench. It has an old sewer smell and the place and tables feel dirty. If you like those powdered milk teas, this is still a pretty decent place. However, if you prefer milk teas with a strong tea taste or fruit teas with real fruits, this isn't the place for you. *They don't accept credit cards.
Pros: Very close to metro CDN Step by step menu to build your own bubble tea with recommendations Friendly staff Fast service Good bubble tea! Good prices: cheaper than Chatime! Cons: Tables were dirty Is it unfair to drop one star just because of the dirty tables? Perhaps, but it was very offputting, so I reserve the right to do so.
