I was there where they opened and was able to chat with the young half English/half French owner about how Elisabeth's came (this is their second location after the successful of his English mother in Le Touquet) and his plans for the future of the chain. As far as I know, this is the only place to get a real English breakfast in Lille, and certainly the only place to get meatcake. If they could implement a coffee service that was equipped with Notting Hill (which is above the street), then I think that they really blossom, although I'm not sure they could make such a realistic move. What the atmosphere and the place to hang out, there are other places in the city that I would recommend, which are less narrowly quartered. I will not call them here, but you can look at my other reviews if you are curious.
I took advantage that there is no one (which is rare) to discover this tea room that made me dream so much! I took a frozen coffee and a slice of lemon cake (very copyy), I enjoyed it! The place is beautifully decorated, the atmosphere is warm and the friendly staff: I understand the popularity of this place!
I recommend this place for a brunch or to taste it! Very good cakes and quality drinks. Little more for scones! The setting is pleasant and quiet. Ideal for a conversation between friends! Finally, the team is welcoming. Only negative point, avoid peak hours despite the small terrace and the room upstairs this renowned place is often complete.
A very welcoming place with a wide choice of quality pastries. I recommend the scone with blueberries that are very good at a reasonable price.
There is a wide choice of pastry at a reasonable price. products are good, the framework is very welcoming and the fast service.
