Les Tontons Afro - Lille

Les Tontons Afros is quite a well-known sight in Lille as they decorate the outside of their resto with huge teddy bears sat at tables. I visited for lunch and enjoyed some tasty 'tapas ' style dishes. All three had good flavours, especially the small kebabs. They didn 't serve any kind of coke zero or or different-brand equivalent. That 's a dissapointment, and I 'm sure I 'm not the last customer who will be annoyed at this.

Belle expérience culinaire mais prenez votre temps. La assiettes sont jolies et très goûteuses, les cocktails généreux et les desserts plein de saveurs. Une belle parenthèses qu’il faut apprécier dans la durée car le service est long, 1 serveur a l’étage pour 30 personnes…un peu dommage…

We had an expected family dinner, no lilies. We took a shared tray, at €29 person. We were promised a trip, but we stayed at a dock...We absolutely did not find the tastes announced, the kitchen was very honestly lacking of relief. for us, who said African cuisine, said the kitchen, high. Then, point of creativity, the kitchen of oste passes everywhere. and it was certainly not the experience we were looking for. To want to do too much, we end up losing. one last comment: when an employee of the server does not do his job properly, a manager must not take it back to the clientele.

I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. located in the heart of the old lilac, it brings a touch of sun. the pleasant staff and the dish of the day was excellent.
