I have mixed emotions about this place. I travel a lot. All over the planet. You walk in and say 'nice ' place. The main floor is primo.. The people wonderful. But, the rules and the place itself, is a problem. It 's a fairly new place. BUT, wearing out quickly...Exit doors upstairs rotting out at their bottoms from rain. Too much stuff to list. It 's fairly new, but the quality of construction was shoddy. The smaller rooms are just that, SMALL.. The 'claims ' of what is provided and what you get, is a moving target. Disclaimers on your night stand AFTER you check in. I had booked a small room, as by myself. Went back and forth with emails with the person at the desk. In this back and forth to book, they booked the smaller room and could only offer me a family room for one nite and then a move to what I wanted The room was on a higher floor and was very disappointing. A 'Family room ' ...Really? But 'Its the Philippines! ' Just a big bed. In the Philippines and entire family may sleep on one bed)...or on the floor...No water pot to make coffee. No electric plug in the bathroom, so so lighting, few receptacles for anything. Think Computer! The provided ice box was unplugged. BUT, the biggie was the room smelled. Think dead rat! They had nowhere to move me. After a while you get used to the demised rat. Terrible key ring and you must sign a deal that if the key gets lost, you gotta pay many pesos. So, the move to the next room was welcome. THEN... Small is correct..small...More square footage of beds than to walk. The shower curtains are too short so the bathroom area floods from a quick shower. The house rules say no alcohol can be brought into the hotel. Not even in your room. WHAT??? They have a bar upstairs. Nice people there. Nice people everywhere. BUT, you can only drink in their bar, or go elsewhere. It 's Liloan, bars are rare. They had a wedding reception in the upstairs bar and it was closed to patrons of the hotel..So you have to do without or break the 'rules '.. Amazing. Then after getting back from a gym the next day, I wanted to shower. 'NO ' hot water.. They were working on it.. It 's the Philippines! '... I was told that my room and another near by were affected. I had a date to make. I was offered to take my towels and go to another room that had not been cleaned yet. I took it. That was weird. But, it was on my floor. The breakfast was good. The food was fine, but what 's on the menu may not be offered. The Supply chain at fault... 'It 's the Philippines '..lol One evening I had a woman coming over to visit. The desk insisted that she show her ID and check her in, though, she was not there for the nite..She was just visiting me. Not a sex worker, not 'a lady of the night ', a friend. She was insulted. 'It 's the Philippines! ' Amazing. I have figured out the best pronounced words of English, spoken by people in the service industry, are.. So Sorry Sir ... It 's the Philippines...
The room is good and will cater 2 adults and 2 kids only. If exceeds, you need to pay extra 500 PHP per person. Corkage fee for foods if you bring food inside the hotel, which is 1,000 PHP plus. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 2 Hotel highlights: Quiet
If it's the only option you have it will do. Stayed with two adults and a toddler, for 5 nights. We asked for a extra pillow and towel for him was told it's extra for both per night. Also no hand towels or face cloths are supplied. 1st time I have ever had this from a hotel. Rooms: 2 Service: 2 Location: 3
My favorite resort in the north. Wish they provided more than 2 pillows on a king size bed and I wish they had a pool. I'll be back. Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 4
