Donkey Fords - Limerick

The staff is very friendly and the food is great. The only downside is that it is served in paper, which can be a bit inconvenient if you're trying to eat on the go.

Probably the only chipper in Limerick that hasn't changed in 40 years, great food, simple menu. Proper chips cooked in beef dripping wrapped up in paper. Serving fresh battered whiting , and the little battered sausages are great. This place serves good food day in day out without any drama, there's a reason there's always a queue. Get in and get yourself a little piece of Limericks gastro history from one of Limericks great takeaways.

I enjoyed the fish and battered sausage, but not so much the chips. Can't be the prices or the speedy service.

As always fantastic food at a reasonable price. Value for money
