Eastern Tandoori - Limerick

Unfortunately, Eastern Tandoori has lost its former charm. Once a highly esteemed Indian restaurant, it has now become average at best. The service was disappointing; the waiter took a long time to clear away empty plates. When the food arrived, it was placed on the table haphazardly. The food itself was just okay. My dish was advertised as mild, but it lacked any spice whatsoever. To top it off, the beer came in a bottle, and I've never paid this much for such a basic option. If you're looking for something average, this is the place for you, but there are definitely better options available.

My dish, which was meant to be mild, had absolutely no seasoning at all. To top it off, my beer came in a bottle, which I've never had to pay for before. If they want to compete in this area, they really need to step up, as there are much better options available.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The food has consistently been excellent for many years. Although the restaurant was a bit quiet during my visit, the dining experience was still fantastic, with great service and a wonderful location.

We were in search of affordable dining options and on a busy Saturday during a midsummer festival, it was challenging to secure a reservation. Indian cuisine seemed to be the only available option, as other restaurants were expensive and did not offer early bird specials. We decided to try an Indian restaurant located a 9-minute walk from our hotel. The two staff members running the restaurant seemed disinterested in serving us and lacked enthusiasm throughout the evening. Despite this, the food was tasty and met our expectations. The bill was reasonable, so we couldn't complain about that. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was odd and unwelcoming, making it feel like an uncomfortable place for a first date. Despite this, we may consider returning if we are in search of a similar dining experience in the future.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. Our party of four enjoyed all of our dishes. The restaurant has a beautiful view overlooking the river. The service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend paying a visit to this lovely establishment.
