La Cucina - Limerick

One of the best meal that I have had since arriving in Ireland. Quality ingredients, friendly staff. Authentic Italian.

Ordered a 20 inch pizza, second time this happens, very little tomato sauce on it, nothing really aside from right beside the crust, so all it tastes is cheese and bread,so dissapointing

Lovely food, great service! The food was excellent and very reasonable! Jason was the best server we could ask for, he really made our night enjoyable and took great care of us! Highly recommend this place for food and the chats! (We think a wheelbarrow addition would be great and instructions on how to use OpenTable reviews would be appreciated

We had lunch in Castletroy and both the food and staff were excellent. We had the Parma ham ciabatta and the tuna salad, both were very good. The coffee as always is great. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and their enthusiasm added to the atmosphere in the restaurant.

My partner and I often eat in Castletroy and Centro. Pre covid we had an awful experience where the lady who we presume is management had an appalling attitude to staff and customers. Her greeting was unwelcoming and she seem pissed off that we had chose to eat in. There was sign on the wall advertising a meal deal of pasta and wine for €14, when I asked her about it I was met with aggression and made feel stupid as ‘obviously the sign is on the wall’. After this experience we chose not to come back to Castletroy for a sit in meal and opted for takeaways. We tried to not let this experience take away from how good the food is and how other waiting staff have been super attentive and welcoming to our needs. We chose to have lunch in Castletroy Saturday 4th December 2021 and we were met with the same woman and attitude. Her own waiting staff were uneasy of how she spoke to customers. One man (we didn’t get his name) who was serving us was so kind and helpful and made our dining experience much more enjoyable. The food was amazing as per usual but the attitude of that one woman always overshadows the good experience. Having a front of house who is not a people person and clearly hates her job is extremely bad for business. We will now have all our meals from Centro even though Castletroy is more convenient for us. To conclude: Woman in charge 0/10 Waiting staff 10/10 Food 10/10
