Pizzeria All'azzurro - LIMONE SUL GARDA

Very bad service, slow, unwilling to speak English and asked if I could speak German! so with limited Italian and with note we ordered cappuccino and strudel €6 and espresso 2. the waitress reappeared and said there was no strudel, surprisingly in perfect English, so we said...ok just the coffee please. At some point the coffees we enjoyed and I went to the bathroom and my man went to settle the bill. they accused him of full cost including the non-existent strudel. Maybe I was tired, but I decided to question that. what a mess. they knew that we waited for the ferry, but I stood on my floor and after 10 minutes at least and much bad speech of cassers that I heard as my Italian although limited bad speech of years of Italian neighbours in Australia, he gave me begrudgingly what he owed. I would have shrunk my shoulders, but not today.

Fantastic lunch. I don’t understand the bad review of the place. The waiters were very nice, the food was simply delicious and fresh (we had some fried calamari and pasta vongole). The wine was amazing and a very decent prize (24€ for a barbera 2011),...which cost usually way more. Totally worth it!

Pleasant staff. Excellent pizza. Casual relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful terrace location on the lakeside.

A lovely spot to sample a large choice of pizzas and drinks with fantastic views of Lake Garda. Can get busy so service can be a bit slow but the staff are very friendly and the location makes any wait worthwhile.
