Visited Saturday 4/3/23, as it is now under new ownership (last visited Pre-Covid . The new owners have opened the upper floors with at least six tables, which are as large as the seats on the ground floor are limited. Nothing the owners can do about the toilet, so this is not a criticism just a head up for customers to keep their heads down The toilet is located behind two doors in close proximity to each other and as soon as the main toilet door is closed, there is not much space to maneuver. Leave bags with your companion if you are a suitable one for you and a bag in it is difficult. As said, no criticism, only advice for the customer, I am very grateful, there is one available! Yesterday it was cold and the seat on the upper floor was cold and damp, the venue would benefit from a form of heating. Everything is beautifully decorated and colorful, and sparkling with fairy lights: The banana corma was delicious and the hot dog was huge! We look forward to returning. I should say this by saying that I was a fan of food in Shanti before, but found the decor overwhelming and the service met and missed. We visited today after reopening with new management. It is open inside with a staircase up to a beautiful seating area, cozy with bright artworks and soft lighting. The wall is still hanging, but it is less exaggerated, cleaner and brighter. We loved the feeling of the place today. The menu is a perfect blend of comfort food and the type of vegan options that I hoped someone in Lincoln would do now for years! We had both burgers, the Shanti Burger and the whole Burger. Both were large and very full. The Shanti Burger is a homemade beef style, with so much taste, but no fat. A pleasure to eat and one for which we are back and forth. The all outta cluck burger is a broken sincean offer. I'm so jealous that I've been doing for years and I've never done anything near the wonderful texture. Lots of chewing and taste. Unbelievable work on the kitchen. When we were very full, we shared a chocolate brew for dessert. If I were in town, I'd just be trying to show up. Gooey, warm and staggered through the ice. Perfect. Two drinks, two main courses and a dessert came to the great value total £ 28.50. We look forward to our work through the rest of the menu!
This is the worst place we've ever eaten. The food was dirty, the chips were frozen chips and still frozen! I couldn't make pictures when the food went back to the kitchen, the Tofu-Curry was so hard! And the kitchen was so dirty! And last time, I was accepted to be gluten-free and it came with GLUTEN, bread and they just took it off the plate! When I told them that I was gluten-free when we ordered. It's the worse service we had! Updated by previous rating on 2023-02-25
Good choices of street food style choices; hotdogs, burgers etc and a few choices of curries. Cosy small venue with a Nepalese theme although not sure why maybe missing some link here to Nepal. Maybe the chef is from Nepal? Friendly staff and decent lunchtime portions, desserts are quite small in my opinion. Heavy patchouli incense in the air if you like that kind of thing!
