Feedback gevenDo not come here if they 're expecting the usual dinner where all 3 courses come from each other within 10 minutes and they're done within an hour. that is more a culinary experience. the chef is a wonderful grandfather, gentleman and performs all the place from itself, including gruß, boil, serve and clearing. we kicked around 7.30 a.m. and finished our 3 courses at 10.30 a.m., normally the waiting period between the curses would not be so long, but the table before us came 30 minutes late for their booking throw away everything, then managed to insult the cook by asking if his obstsalat came from a dose. there are 5 different Prix-fix menus to choose, as well as single people and a special board. the eating itself was ok, not spectacular, but when they realize that each plate of a 3 curs meal, for 8 people overall is hand prepared by 1 ctogenarian, they really get how impressive it is. the main drawing of crust is the cook that comes out after eating and a friendly chat with them and a laugh and a sweat and tells them some of his funny stories about cooking through the years and when he was in the forces. the entire experience feels like dinner in her grandparent house and its just so beautiful. (But they have the need to bring their tellers to the kitchen afterwards.) wonderful culinary experience. a little slow for my personal preference, but that because I'm one of these 'go in, eat, leave ' type people who don't like to sit and digest, but would absolutely recommend going for the experience.
Went to explore lincoln for the day and found this absolute shade. it feels like you're getting into a time capsule and you're so well looked after in this local environment. I wasn't sure how eating for the vegetarian options would be, but it was incredible. I ate so good and a good price.
Very good service! This is my second time here and it never disappoints me. The food (a three course lunch meal), the price and the service from the Patron Chef Victor were among the best one can get. The interior decor is so homely it enhances the dining experience. Victor personally served us our orders and made sure we were happy with everything. This time I had the egg mayonnaise for starter, saute pork cutlet as main and banana fritters with ice cream for dessert. I especially loved the fact that Victor had the fruits placed in the dining area. He is always walking in and out from the kitchen to serve us, to get the fruits to make the dessert you get the lovely connection between the chef and the customers. Do not be fooled by Victor 's initial 'unfriendly ' demeanour. He is very, very friendly once you get into conversations with him. The low price but good service makes the whole experience priceless!

Absolutely wonderful food and service, great value for money and like stepping back in time. Thoroughly recommend
