Eating in the brayford view restaurant was ok, nothing bad enough to complain, but the prices they charge are above the tip for such hardly average eating. we could have been on the way to wetherspoons and had a fraction of the price. it was convenient to eat in such a cold evening in the hotel. the appetizers were chicken liver pates, which was good enough, but a bit skating. the first two main dishes we tried to order were sold out, both fish dishes, and the restaurant was not even busy. that's just a bad plan. our third choice was a chicken and mushroom cake, which had more gravity than anything else, very little huh. it tastes ok, but was bad quality for £18.50 we asked for a wine menu and it was said there was no one. we ordered a bottle merlot that was good, but very expensive for what it was. our young waiter was very good and apologetic about the sold out dishes. he was only attentive enough. the bill came just under £80 for a very average meal. it was the first time that we were for a meal for a long time, and we let ourselves feel a little disappointed to be honest. even if we arrived in the restaurant tomorrow morning, our name was missing from the table planning list, so that this was something unorganized. So, all in all, not the best experience, and that was up on a mix-up at the reception when we checked in. no great impression of the place.
It wasn't open. I don't know why open table let me book
Our whole food was very dirty. would not be eating here again.
Really enjoyed the breakfast but, even though we had booked a table for dinner, we walked out after viewing the menu due to the poor choices available and what was available we felt was overpriced.
