Maria's Breakfast Lunch - Lincoln

I hadn't visited in a while, but the food and service were just as excellent as I remembered. I was taken aback by how much the steak and eggs had increased in price—now $17.95. I anticipated a price hike, but this still caught me off guard. Additionally, the bottled water was priced at $1.95, but it felt like a generic brand from a discount store. I was disappointed with the water quality; they should consider offering a better brand.

The home fries were frozen and the pancakes were just average. The water had a strange, chemical taste. The wait staff was solid, but I would recommend saving your time and money. I was definitely surprised by how highly rated this place is.

I stumbled upon Maria's after visiting CCRI up the road, and I'm so glad I did! The food came out incredibly fast—literally within two minutes of ordering. The home fries were absolutely delicious, some of the best I've ever had—crispy and crunchy perfection! I ordered an omelet filled with peppers, onions, bacon, ham, and cheese, and it couldn’t have been any better. Often, I find that omelets have too much egg and not enough filling, but that was certainly not the case here. Maria's packed in a generous amount of deliciousness! I turned mine into a sandwich, fitting as much of the omelet as I could into a grilled bagel. I definitely prefer a grilled bagel over a toasted one; it allows me to squish the omelet in without making a mess—it's a great trick! I'm really glad I had the chance to try out this spot. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is nice and quiet. Just a heads up—it's cash only, but there's an ATM inside if you need it. Highly recommend visiting Maria's!
