When I arrived on time, I inquired about the restaurant's location and was told by a staff member that the upstairs dining area had been closed for a while. Despite this setback, I was greeted by a very friendly manager who offered us the option to dine in the closed restaurant or sit at the bar, which had the same menu. The manager was attentive and went out of her way to provide excellent service. The food was delicious, with flavorful salads and well-prepared entrees. The wine menu even had a pleasant surprise - a gorgeous old Italian wine. Overall, despite the initial confusion about the restaurant's status, the exceptional service and tasty food made for a memorable and unique dining experience in New Hampshire. #awkward #onlyinNH.
The shrimp and scallop scampi was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. On the other hand, the eggplant pasta dish lacked freshness but redeemed itself with its generous portion size, enough to last for three meals!
My family and I decided to dine at this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner, opting for a sit-down meal instead of the Thanksgiving buffet. However, we were disappointed with the food as it resembled typical pub fare similar to a chain like 99 Restaurant. Despite this, the service was good and our server was excellent. Overall, our expectations based on the website were not met.
I arrived in Lincoln the day after the Scottish games and found the city to be empty with few restaurants open. Fortunately, OpenTable provided great guidance for me. Even though the Seasons area was closed, the bar was still serving the same food. Our server, Bryan, was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the food and wines. The fish dishes were excellent. I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.
The Mountain Club restaurant combines the elegant atmosphere of Seasons Restaurants with the laid-back après ski feel of Johnny Corduroy at Black Diamond. You can savor dishes like salmon with orange vinaigrette and roasted vegetables while enjoying a Jägerbomb, or treat yourself to buffalo chicken fingers presented in a sophisticated manner. The food is delicious and uncomplicated, featuring perfectly cooked salmon and a flavorful Caesar salad with or without anchovies. Jeremie and the evening staff go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is exceptional, especially when it comes to their famous turnips. Breakfast is relaxed yet stylish, with a hearty buffet or à la carte options to fuel you up for a day on the slopes. Although the prices may be higher than dining off-campus, the experience is worthwhile if you are staying at the Mountain Club.
