I was cold. My pupusa was hot, but I didn't taste meat. Pasteles were hot and delicious. It took 40 minutes to get food
Tia Lety?s has an extensive menu that has something for everyone. I visited this place a little less than a decade and was never disappointed with my food. The papusas are good, but I almost always order a tostada, the bowl it is made with a delicious dough and toppings are stacked high. The waiting staff is attentive and there are many seats. If you are in a hurry, call to go to order and take it quickly upon arrival.
After all the other reviews I expected here, they didn't get through. Every waitress has a small child who screams at a table in the dining room and weeps to go in the way. That alone never lets me go back... then you find out that the food is terrible. I had beef phajitas and the beef was almost not existent I had about 7 tiny steaks that were all overcooked. Another person had chicken fajitas, there were more meat than mine, but she said it was the most dry chicken she was ever served in the restaurant. Another person had a carne asada burrito and said it was okay, but not grilled steak, explained it as a boiled hamburger who was chopped on, he said they had a good salt. The Salsa Verde was pretty good, but it is not worth returning.
Tia Lety's is one of those places that I want to keep a secret. It is SO STUPID GOOD every time I go there, but I'm afraid that if everyone found out and started filling the place up it would ruin the place. So, I guess I am saying that you should go there, but don't tell anyone else about it. ;
