Chinook Winds Casino Resort

Such a smooth check-in process. the reservation person was super and all people at the reception were so friendly and treats us amazing! they could get us a fantastic price at a very busy weekend! what a great start in our weekend!

Nick was great checking us in. My daughter, baby and I checked into a nice roomy King handicap room facing the parking lot. We were there to relax. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant and walk on the beach. Then at 2:13 am there were 2 men looking at cars in parking lot. A couple fighting in their room until 6am. Tried calling front desk 3 times, no security and the reservation person said to go up to their room and knock on the door. The people were screaming the f word and throwing stuff...no way was I going to put myself in danger. So no sleep that night. In the morning I told front desk. Seems it happened all the time because no one seemed really concerned. Still charged full price and not sure if anyone checked on that room. We were so excited to finally stay at the resort. I think we will stay down the street and drive to the casino and restaurant the next visit.

I had visited before and recently stayed in the area to go to the casino for the weekend. I really like this casino. They've got great views outside the casino, their nearby eatery was delicious and had amazing views, and their nearby hotel also had killer views (I did not stay at their hotel).Most important no smoking indoors!This made for a very clean and pleasant gambling experience. The employees seemed happy and were clean and friendly.I didn't win, but I still had an enjoyable time and will definitely return in the future.

Somewhere between 3 and 4. Rooms are pretty basic. Bed, bath, TV, small fridge and microwave. Beds are fairly comfortable. You are right on the water so it's nice when the tide is out. Great deal if you can get a mid-week special. Not sure if I'm expecting too much from a casino but it serves its function. It has my vote for sure.

To start with, the dining area was pretty messy and there was food spilled all over the floor around our table. I'm surprised it wasn't cleaned up before they seated us there. One of the servers seemed like she enjoyed her job and the other seemed like he really just didn't want to be there. I had small portions of almost everything they offered and most of it seemed like it was probably frozen and just heated up. Most of the people behind the counter were rushing me through even though there was nobody behind me. But then I got to the Indian fry bread taco section, and the lady was super nice and explained everything that went on the taco. I went ahead and ordered one and it was much larger than I expected. I got all the food back to the table and was disappointed in everything except for the fry bread taco... That was delicious. I then went to the dessert case and it was pretty obvious that all of the desserts were from the freezer. As expected, they were all a bit disappointing. On top of all of that, I don't really enjoy gambling so I don't suspect I'll ever have a reason to return to Chinook Winds.
