Got to restaurant with two elderly relatives that had a hard time walking and was told they would not be able to serve us food for 90 minutes at least!!! No words describe how angry taken aback we were how difficult it was to take everyone somewhere else at the last minute on a holiday. Would give zero stars if possible!!!
We had a 6:15 reservation on Mother’s Day. We waited 5+ minutes at the hostess stand for her to finish a phone call and then she proceeded to tell us that we could be seated on time but due to the number of large parties it would take 1.5-2 hours to receive our food if we wanted to stay. I assume these large parties had reservations since they were in private rooms and I was disappointed that they had not planned their staff for the amount of reservations that they had taken. At the time there were quite a few empty tables so I assume the wait got worse as the evening progressed. We left. I had eaten there before but will not return again.
Went for Mother's day, when we checked in girl says kitchen is running behind and there would be a 2 hour wait for food. We drove an hour to get there so asked to be seated. We sat there about 30 mins before they came to take our drink order. Waitress was nice, overwhelmed as they were busy and short handed. I've been here a few times and they seemed to always be short handed. Food didn't take 2 hours to come out, took about 40 minutes and it was good. I hate leaving negative review because I do enjoy 90 miles, but they need to be better prepared.
Our server was amazing despite being no manager around to fix the chaos in reservations and the kitchen , there was an hour wait for our food even though we arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation! The only thing that made it bearable was your wait staff she was truly amazing and customer oriented , I would go back if she took care of me only , and the prices are a bit to high there are other places with much bigger portions and get my food in 15 minutes tops and I pay one third of what I paid
I will say, I've dined at all 3 locations. We LOVE the food. This was our 1st experience at Lincolnwood. I'm hopeful that we just caught them on a crazy day, but we ended up waiting over an hour, probably an hour and a half, but in the end, our food never arrived. The waitress did her best to keep us updated but she finally admitted that they had 2 cooks walk out on them. They had no ETA on when we'd actually get our food. Given we couldn't stay, we left after 2 hours. I was surprised they didn't even offer to make things right. The appetizers we did get were fantastic. I'm hoping this was just a fluke.
