Collin Street Bakery - Lindale

I love this place. Here came to Tesla and decided to go inside and see what this bakery is about. I first ordered a fruitcake from them for Christmas and it was the best I ever had. The interior is really nice and clean, the staff was some of the friendly people I've ever met! I have a variety of things to try and everything was amazing! I have a coffee, a donut, a cherry sales and a lemon bar for my road trip. I was very impressed by the quality and tasty of all the sweets I bought! Definitely a must see! Get some treats while you're here!

I liked COD. It is conveniently located on the I-20 near Hideaway Lake and Lindale, TX. We had two big hot teas. I had a chocolate cupcake to go with my tea, and my husband had a chocolate toffee cookie to go with his tea. We dropped in the store. Sitting was plentiful, and the sweets and teas were great. One thing that was convenient was the bank of electric chargers available to charge vehicle batteries. The electric bank was so difficult to see from the street on the back of the building. Still, it was a nice surprise.

I missed my fruitcake last vacation time as COVID prevents me from traveling. I made for lost time Saturday with a pineapple fruitcake (1st time), French toast muffin (just like the real thing), and Sunshine salad (Mandarin Orange Strawberry). Yum! Everyone was thrilled. The service was friendly and appealing. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Free coffee or soda pop for tesla key holder. a big gesture and bought a few cookies for my trip.. good people work here. very nice.
