Theater Cafe - Lindau (Bodensee)

I was here on vacation with my family for the second year in a row and I could not resist to taste some of the fantastic cakes this Konditorei has. In one word; fantastic!! The owners are super friendly and they even talk some Dutch... The coffee tastes really great, I had an espresso and a latte macchiato. Fantastic. On my way home I am for sure going to take some home made Jam with me. So many different tastes, too hard to choose. I had breakfast on our second day in Lindau and they serve a very good breakfast! Salmon, scrambled eggs and some different bread, really tasteful. I am certainly going to visit again, that is for sure!

Our late afternoon treat was indeed a treat. Fine, personable service. Comfortable seating. A local favorite.

This place is really lovely. The staff was very friendly and spoke English so well! The tarts and cakes were rustic, reminding me of those my grandmother used to make. Definitely a great place for a taste of traditional German desserts.

This cafe was recommended by our hotel receptionist - and he was hundred per cent correcr - we have been raoming around black forest for a week and yet to find the famous cake bearing the name - here we didnt find either but what we had was quite simply fantastic - my better half had a berries cake which was divine i had a mocca gateau which was great also ! service was veru quick and very organised and clean etsablishmnet !

After visiting the Stadtmuseum it starts to rain so we went in to this place. If get in immediately the suit smell of cake enter your nose and than you will find you in front of a big variety of cakes and other sweeties you have problems to choose. The coffee hot and tasty.
