Usually great food, but not the first time I have found a bone in my all white meat chicken on a bun. Be careful !!!
I 'm absolutely sorry to write this review as Swiss Chalet has long been a family favorite of ours. We are regular customers to this location but the past two dinners have been a major disappointment. The last two times we have ate here we have ordered delivery. Both times the meals have been missing items and arrived either earlier then requested or delivered to our neighbours house. The most recent meal we were notified that the meal had been delivered but we didn 't get any delivery. We called customer service to enquire but they couldn 't even call through to the restaurant to find any answers. The meal was re-ordered but was put with a 'RUSH ' for our inconvenience. 40 minutes later the 'Rushed ' meal arrived. Unfortunately the meal was missing items and when I called customer service I was offered a minimal credit that had a time limit. When I wasn 't happy with that I was directed to the restaurant who would not answer the phone. Overall not a pleasant experience and it appears that the service at this location is going down.
I have been attempting to place a delivery order online or over the phone for several months without success. The website indicates that they are closed and there is no option to place an order. Since I do not own a car, I am unable to pick up the order in person. This situation is extremely frustrating. I was unable to receive my order and was informed that I would have to physically go to the restaurant.
Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We had to wait for a while to be seated, and once we were, it took a long time for our orders to be taken. We ordered the chicken stir fry and the chicken Caesar salad, but it took quite a while for our food to arrive. The stir fry was overly sweet and very salty. When we mentioned this to our server when we asked for the bill, her response was dismissive, saying, "well you ate it." Despite the long wait for our food, we felt like we had no other choice but to pay for it. A simple apology would have been appreciated; we weren't looking for a free meal.
