Gonzalez Mexican - Lindsay

We had our first visit and we're definitely planning to return. My husband ordered the hard shell taco plate, while I opted for the shrimp taco plate. We were both surprised to find that the meal came with rice only, with no refried beans included. My husband had no complaints and enjoyed his dish. I did find that my soft shell corn tortilla tacos were served in a way that caused the juices from the first taco to make the other two soggy enough that I had to eat them with a fork. Although my meal was quite filling, it lacked flavor. I asked for fresh limes, which did help enhance the taste, but they arrived when I was nearly finished eating. On a positive note, my margarita was excellent! We're looking forward to coming back and giving this restaurant another try. The waitstaff was fantastic, and the place itself appeared clean, though I didn't check out the restrooms.

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! The food was delicious, and the service was friendly. We highly recommend it!

This was really good food. This was my first visit to Lindsay, so the locals brought me here. I would recommend you visit them for good Mexican food.

My new favorite Mexican Restaurant. Their Guisada is excellent. So many restaurants pour a little sauce on their asada and call it Guisada. At Gonzales it is tender, stewed Guisada.
