Minions Tea Rooms - Linkinhorne

We stumbled upon this delightful little tea shop while exploring, and it was a lovely experience. The portions were very generous, and everything tasted homemade. I ordered a cheese and ham sandwich that was exceptional. We also tried a round cake, which was again quite large and delicious. The highlight of our visit was the incredibly friendly staff. They made us feel welcome and were very accommodating to families. They even provided a separate table for the children and interacted with them as if they were their own. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! If you're in the area, definitely visit this hidden gem of a tea shop—it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy.

What a fantastic place! I had an amazing cream tea with delightful fruit scones, which were freshly made on-site by Alison. The service was excellent and quick, and the coffee was just right. When we left, I asked the lady if they would be open in October, and she informed me that they have decided to stay open year-round. This is wonderful news, as I’ll definitely be coming back for another cream tea after a walk to the Golddiggers Quarry in October. Oh, and they're dog-friendly too! xxx

I had a delicious black currant flapjack and a large cup of coffee in this charming tea room today. Most of the cakes are homemade, but they buy their gluten-free cakes to prevent any risk of cross-contamination. I plan to return, especially after a nice walk, as they also have some soups on the menu and toasties. Everything needs to be tried, especially if it's as good as the flapjack I had!

Fantastic greeting of new owners (4 months in). short, but perfectly shaped menu. had to sink cheese sandwich to die for. real ham, real cheese and real brot. tee in a pot. everything is made too home. dog-friendly. they will not be disappointed.

What a great find, sandwiches to die for and very filling, coleslaw crisps bit of salad and a coffee for less than a tenner. Under new management and they obviously know what they are at. Recommended and wish the new owners all the best for the future. They do cream tea's and other cakes, well worth a visit.
