Katemma's Diner - LIONS HEAD

We were up at our property today, stopped at Katemma's for lunch. We had heard good things about this place. Let me tell you great things! The friendliest place! The menu had a good assortment to choose from. We were suggested the burger, local fresh meat cooked to perfection!!! The conversation with the owner and our hostess were informative and very friendly. Make a point to stop in and have a great meal and meet some excellent people! This will be our go to stop when we are up in the Bruce Peninsula!

We had a lovely Sunday evening dinner at Katemma's Diner this week. Cosy and friendly, very good service and the eats were very good.

Everything was great. Attention to detail and quality of ingredients. Friendly service. Worth the drive down Pike Bay Road?

My friends and I stopped here on our way to Bruce Peninsula. We were starving as the road we took to the park literally had no place to eat, so when we saw this diner we were ecstatic. Each of us ordered something and all of us were satisfied with our meals. I had the poutine and I can say that it was very good. If you're on your way to the Bruce Peninsula National Park then I recommend stopping by here...it really added to the whole Bruce Peninsula experience (it was sort of like the local lunch before the big excursion). The staff in there were so nice, they gave us a map and were telling us where to go as we had gotten a bit off path. Lovely little place...give it a try if you're in the area!

It's a fair drive down Pike Bay Road from Highway 6 North to get to Katemma's Cafe. But believe me, the drive is worth it! Everyone is welcomed warmly. They have a small but diverse menu, and they are very accommodating to special needs. My favourite is their summer salad, a fabulous concoction of greens, nuts, dried cranberries, and their own raspberry vinaigrette. The pulled pork sandwich is the best I've had anywhere! Their Sunday dinners - reservations strongly recommended - are a fixed menu with local entertainment. Always a fine night out!
