Alte Borse - Lippstadt

Just had to eat somewhere. And it seemed that this place is really good, service is good, Steak was really good!

This is a typical German restaurant with a variety of dishes. There were 3 people in my group and everyone took care of their choice of food. Prices are also reasonable!

The locaiton is housed in a German department store. Essentially, this is a wood-framed building where the height of the windows and the space between the bars are determined by regional tradition. The gaps between them are filled with plates and then in colored plaster... I mention this because it adds a lot to the charm of the old Borse. The restaurant is just a stone's throw from the main square in the middle of the old town of Lippstadt. The menu is extensive and includes both international cuisine and a local Westphalian fare (read meat dishes). The staff is politely friendly and welcoming, adding the ambience of the restaurant. Dishes are generous in sections and this generosity extends to the final invoice. For the quality and consistency of food, I found the restaurant very well appreciated. Overall, I find the Old Borse of sufficiently high standard to give them a rare five of five!

I mention this because it contributes a lot to the charm of the old stock exchange. the restaurant is located just a stone's throw from the capital market, in the middle of the Lippstädter old town. the menu is extensive and includes both international cuisine as well as some local western-fälische dishes (read them meat dishes.) the staff is extremely polite and welcoming, which strengthens the ambiente of the restaurant. the portions of the dishes are generous and this generousness also extends to the final settlement. for the quality and consistency of eating I found the restaurant very inexpensive. Overall, I find the old market of sufficiently high levels to give it a rare five of five points!
