Villa Betula Resort

We have stayed at Villa Betula campsite for 7 days (family with 2 kids aged 6) and we had such a wonderful time! It was our first ever visit there and first attempt to spend holidays in camping in the tent, and we loved every minute of it. 5 stars for the territory, cleanliness, amenities, animal farm and super kind ladies who assisted with horse riding, Kids Club and children animation from 10:00-19:00, a lot of playgrounds and play zones, trampolines, swings and sandbox, water labirynth and inflatable castle for kids so they always have been occupied regardless of the weather and for this we give top rating! My daughter was in Babyland playroom 90% of time because they had so many activities and handcrafting there, she was super happy! My son loved the farm and feeding animals every single day, it was his meditation with therapeutic effect. I loved the swimming pool and walking around the territory, it is very well planned and organized. I would love to return again! We did not use restaurant so I cannot comment on their own food but we heard it was overpriced and cost about 25 eur per person /1 meal in a buffet. We cooked ourselves on the grill or in the kitchen. We enjoyed swimming pool in hot days and Babyland playroom for chilly days so kids were occupied and happy all the time. However, the downside for the whole camping experience was a tiny kitchen in the Camp 2 site- small table for 1 person only, 1 electric cooking panel, 1 kettle, microwave and sink... but only 1 socket which is always a problem when you need to use 2 appliances at the same time, it was simply impossible Morever, the kitchen light is controlled centrally and it was switched on ONLY from about 21:30 onwards and till the night when nobody cooked, why not put the light on earlier (18:00-20:00) when people need to cook dinners? This was my biggest frustration and disappointment, I had to use my phone torch to have some minimal light and it was inconvenient and unsafe. The tiled floor in the small kitchen is also very slippery when wet, I fell twice. Please consider putting non-slip stripes or something else on the floor (non-slippery tiles) to avoid such accidents.

The best place to enjoy the whole Liptov region. Great and helpful staff, beautiful rooms, really good food and plenty to do with kids. Service: 5

I recently stayed at this resort and had a mostly positive experience. The place is exceptionally nice and clean, with ample space for guests to enjoy. Families with children will particularly appreciate the many quality playgrounds available, providing endless entertainment for the little ones. However, one downside is that the coffee, drinks, and food are quite overpriced, which can add up quickly. Overall, it's a great resort for a family getaway if you don't mind the higher costs for refreshments.
