Conqvistador - Lisboa

We needed some sustenance after walking up the hill towards the castle and were delighted to find this little eaterie just round the corner from the castle gate. Managed to get a small table outside, the staff were quickly over to give menus and take the order. Food is cooked to order and was fresh and delicious. I had chicken wings, hubby had the scotch egg (done with black pudding) and we shared a beef sandwich. Very satisfied at the end of the meal! There was live music playing just along the road and it was a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We didnt have any alcohol but did have water and a pepsi and hubby had a coffee. Whole bill just less than 29 euros. Great value. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I visited this spot for a light dinner two nights in a row. The gazpacho soup and fried chicken wings were both unique and delicious. The mango passion fruit cheesecake was the best we’ve eaten. We were particularly impressed with the staff who were accommodating and friendly.

Intention was to just stop for a drink in the sun, however the food looked and smelt so good that we stayed for lunch and another round. Food was excellent with varied choice. Staff friendly and efficient. Definitely a decent stop close to the castle.

Já conheço este restaurante há muitos anos sempre gostei dos pratos que oferecem. Tem espaço interior e exterior, o que no verão é óptimo para estar na esplanada. Sugiro o bacalhau confitado e os lombinhos de porco.

Apesar da maior parte da nossa refeição ter saído da cozinha da Petisqueira Conqvistador, tivemos oportunidade de provar, do menu do Restaurante, um Polvo à Lagareiro com Batata Doce maravilhoso!Os dois restaurantes partilham a enorme esplanada em frente à muralha do Castelo e, o atendimento é fantástico.Obrigada pela hospitalidade.Voltaremos em breve!
