Place has plenty of space, which is very good. The food we ordered all was very tasty, including starters and main dishes. The one I ordered was misto Izgara and I advise a lot to try! :
It was unexpectedly good!! The flavors were on point, the meat well cooked. We had the chef speciality’s, the prawn and the signature dish. Both were amazing.
One of the worst turkish restaurants in lisboa. Serving adana kebab which is no adana kebab. Adana kebab is served and prepared in a total different way
My girlfriend and I were a bit bored of Portugese cuisine after a month in Lisbon so decided to check out some of the other, favourably reviewed options. Had read on google reviews that this was a great Turkish option. It was TERRIBLE. Breaking down into 3 areas: Atmosphere This is not a charming, rustic place, it's just gross. It's in a horrible run down part of town on the main road, the decor is odd, windows are taped up and we were the only people with 1 staff member who was watching the news. Food Possibly some of the worst food i've had, and i've eaten some disgusting food in my time. We both went for the 13 Euro set menu that consisted of a starter, main, soft drink and coffee. We also ordered wine and a beer. The wine tasted like a gross between a fruit punch and vinegar. The starter was a cold tortilla wrap, with some butter on it... We ordered another starter, some crispy deep fried cheese, which was straight out the freezer and into the fryer. We asked for some sauce and they said they didn't have any, then begrudgingly brought out some mayonaise. The main was DISGUSTING... dry, cold rice, rotten tasting meat and grim looking salad. All cold, no seasoning. We were starving so got through some chips and some meat before calling the waiting over and telling him it was revolting. Service Unable to eat and really disappointed we passed on our feedback to the waiter... a nervous chap.. He insisted that the food was very popular and that because we had eaten a bit of it, we had to pay full price. After wrangling with him for a bit, he removed the wine cost... We paid 20 Euros of the 28... which was a rip off considering we had to go somewhere else! Food in Lisbon is incredible... do not waste your time at this spot.
