Izcalli is without a doubt one of the best ‘secret spots’ of Lisbon. The service was extraordinary by all members of the staff, and the food please believe me that I’m still thinking of how great the flavours and ingredients that Chef Ivo did while introducing each one of the moments by explaining all of the ingredients background in the Mexican cuisine. Please note that they have an extraordinary wines list with some of the finest wines. I will recommend this experience to all of my friends for sure. PS- All of you lover should take the chance to do a surprise to your partners as I did. (It’s worthy!

Didn’t really know what to expect, I mean, how many restaurants do you go to that only seat 6 people.! Really fancied a Mexican meal but wasn’t interested in the mainstream options. Booked this as a punt and it turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve had in years and the atmosphere and set up is as unique as it comes. The food was amazing, and as it’s a tasting menu you just have to sit they and be fed.! Honestly can’t wait to go back and it will now be a must visit restaurant every time I’m in Lisbon. Please do not miss out on this experience, book in advance and get ready for an unforgettable night.
