Lisboa Tu E Eu 2

We ate here for dinner one evening. The restaurant is located in a really cool spot, up a staircase and in a smally alley. The restaurant is fairly small, with not a lot of seating. We waited probably close to 45 minutes before we were seated. Its loud and energetic inside, so not a relaxing calm meal (if that is what you are looking for). For dinner I tried to sardines (something new for me) and my boyfriend had a pork dish. The sardines came out beautifully prepared, but too fishy for my taste (still glad I tried something new). My boyfriend had a pork dish that ho loved and talks about it when people ask about our trip. This is a fun restaurant with great good.

The food was fantastic!! Especially the grilled sardines. The owner lady is also very adorable, you should definitely talk to her.

The internal seating is limited there was a long queue at 6:50pm we persevered because we wanted as authentic Portuguese meal. We had hummus,bread and olives the hummus serving was the smallest one I have ever had maybe 4 teaspoons. Garlic prawns were excellent as were the sardines. We also ordered the iconic bacalhau We didn’t know what to expect but it was disappointing. I know that there are many ways that it is served but it was just like a cold Tuna Mornay.I was looking for the Cod and flavour. Add 2 small mineral water and it came to €47.

A bela tasca de Alfama com vários pratos a preços aceitáveis e comida com mão caseira. As sardinhas grelhadas estavam, gordas, frescas e muito saborosas. O ambiente estava simplesmente lisboeta. Característica interessante, as suas paredes cobertas de texto que por ali vão deixando memória.

Restaurante com comidas típicas em lugar muito especial. Os pratos de qualidade, deliciosos e a simpatia da Proprietaria Dona Maria do Carmo dando um toque especial. Certamente iremos retornar.
