Miss Jappa - Lisboa

Very nice experience, warm service and warmer Sake ; All of the dishes served felt thought through and made with quality materials. Definitely recommend.

Ordered some take away food and it was amazing! The fish was incredibly fresh, the pieces were big and everything tasted wonderfully. The staff was suuuper nice too! I’ll definitely go there again, it’s the best sushi in colares praia grande. Must visit!

After following the establishment on Instagram, we decided to give it a try. Sadly the impression given on the social media does not match with the real picture. The waiting time in between dishes was too long. The presentation of each one, very beautiful yet the portions too small for the price. The sushi dishes very tasteless. We missed a more keen eye for detail and good service as the waitress did not once ask if we like the food or if we want more to drink. Still everyone was very polite and the place is pretty. To be honest, there are other places in Lisbon that offer a better quantity quality price balance. Unfortunately not a place we recommend and won’t come back to.

Ao contrário de algumas opiniões que já foram escritas em relação ao Miss Jappa, tive uma boa experiência no geral. Do que pedimos as gyozas estavam bastante boas. Queríamos sushi mas após ter lido algumas opiniões que não diziam muito bem do sushi to sashimi tradicional decidimos ainda assim arriscar mas escolhemos o combinado especial do chef, as peças eram saborosas e diversificadas. O bao de salmão não surpreendeu e tentámos experimentar o ramen mas o pedido veio trocado pelo que acabaram por nos servir o cachaço de porco, embora estivesse bom tínhamos era mesmo curiosidade pelo ramen. Não entendi porque é que na sobremesa o gelado supostamente era de gengibre mas veio gelado de nata, fora isso tudo ok. O atendimento foi simpático, a localização do restaurante é muito boa.

Amazing experience in an authentic Japanese restaurant. Definitely recommend the starter with Katsuobushi on top since it’s not an easy find!
