I wanted to go to a local place to taste Portuguese wines and stumbled on the old pharmacy. I was intrigued. I was greeted by George who was an amazing sommelier. He asked me what I liked and then made me taste some local wines before I decided on a white wine that I absolutely loved. I tried the salted cod that was amazing. The wine was delicious and I spent almost 2 1/2-half hours, just sitting alone and admiring the place. It was fantastic experience. Then I went there for the second time with my husband and we both had a nice time. George was super friendly and an amazing sommelier. He really made our visit to the old pharmacy unforgettable. Ontzettend gezellig café met erg gastvrij personeel en heerlijk eten! Een portproeverij gedaan met portjes voor euro! De bachalau is een echte aanrader en verder kan je hier vooral kleine gerechtjes bestellen!
