Gowdys Of Down Royal - Lisburn

Sunday dinner and I went for the roast beef. Very disappointing to only get 1 slice of roast beef. Cooked perfectly however. Average roast potatoes but the mash and veg were very good.

My nephew had his wedding reception here. Frances went above and beyond to ensure everyone had what they needed plus all the staff serving food and drinks, were fantastic. The food was really good. Highly recommend this for a meal out, day out and weddings or any type of function. There's also swings out the back to keep the children amused. There was two bouncy castles as well but they weren't inflated yesterday.

This place is perfect. The food was lovely and service was great. For us, there was a child who was howling almost the entire time we were there. I know that wasn't the restaurants fault, but it spoilt our experience somewhat. So that's why I didn't give it a full 5 stars

Great staff, plenty of parking, good food, indoor and outdoor dining options. Bouncy castle (weather dependent) and kids play area. Will eat and drink here often.

Best Guinness I've tasted outside of Dublin. I will be back and I will add a photo.
