We checked out the next door restaurant (Cafe de la Basilique) and got an offensive response from the owner when we asked if they served any vegetarian dishes. This appears to be a predictable response based on the reviews on TripAdvisor.. We went across the road (L'Avenue) and were told they had one vegetarian dish..So we went into La Terrasse and had a friendly welcome to a table overlooking the terrasse. From a menu which did not really cater for us, we chose simply- two mixed salad dishes, with fries, a glass of rose, a plate of local cheeses (Camembert, Livarot, Pont l'Eveque) and a bottle of sparkling water. No problems- good service; tasty, simple food, reasonable price of Eur33 for both of us. Normandy continues to be mostly a desert for vegetarians. A pity, given the fresh produce available.
It is acceptable for those who do not search, but this hotel is very old, a little noisy and not necessarily guests, the reception is colder than hot, 9,50€ for a breakfast, industrial orange juice, a croissant and a piece of bread (in town from 5€, not taken meals on site. and the big apartment is to check his bill!
