La Casita Mexicana - Lismore

The chicken torta ($12.50) at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. The patty was well-made, the burger bun was fluffy, and the combination of chipotle aioli, avocado, and salsa added great flavor. The fries were also cooked perfectly and portioned well. I appreciated the low volume of the background music, creating a pleasant ambiance. However, if you don't have a reservation, there may be limited seating options available, with only bar stools being open which can be uncomfortable after a while. It is recommended to book in advance. Overall, I had a thoroughly enjoyable meal for one and would like to thank the restaurant for a great experience.

If you're in Lismore, stop whatever you're doing and head to this restaurant immediately. I haven't had Mexican food this authentic since my time in California - and I'm not talking about the usual Tex Mex fare, but the real deal. From the flavorful appetizers (like perfectly stuffed and pan-fried/baked Jalapenos, not the typical battered and fried version) to the delicious main dishes (as seen in the picture), this place is top-notch. Trust me, you won't regret treating yourself here. I only wish we had a spot like this back in Berlin. Simply delicious!

The food is always delicious, but be prepared for a veerry long wait. I've found this a real issue consistently the last 4 or 5 times. However the food is great if you're prepared to wait.

The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. I only discovered this place last week, but I have already been back twice and plan to visit again soon and frequently.
