La Bona Pasta - LITCHFIELD PARK

Decent food at a not so decent price. Went here this weekend for dinner. There are not a lot of customers so I am not sure how they have survived for so long. The decor is super dated, Got Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Marsala. Both were decent enough. The dated part of these meals are the pasta served on the side(vodka? as well as the side vegetables. It is like something out of the 70's. The soup(clam chowder was quite good. Of course every time I have come here they have had really great soups. A highlight for sure. The shrimp scampi was good. Decent sauce and the shrimp were good quality. The chicken marsala was also good. Chicken cooked well with a good sauce. Paying 70 bucks for 2 dishes after tip seems really steep to me. If the food had better sides and a little more portion it might be worth it. Overall good food at a not so good price. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This little place in a mall delivers a great punch. The chef/owner is very personable, but more importantly cooks delicious dishes. Visiting from NY I am used to find great places, but this one exceeded my expectations. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend. Authentic Italian food, the pasta was perfectly cooked and our server recommended a very good choice of wine. I wish the atmosphere is a little bit more engaging but it is very quite. Ordered take out and the order came with many items incorrect. I ordered the carbonara and received the Alfredo instead. Decided to eat what was delivered and unfortunately the food was very bland flavoured, deep fried croutons tasting of fish, dry chicken and over cooked pasta. I’ve never been more motivated to post a review to warn others not to waste money here. 10/10 will never eat here again. This was absolutely fantastic restaurant. Everything was excellent. Everything is made fresh, so don't be in a hurry. It was worth the wait. Very elaborate setting and atmosphere was relaxing and romantic. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
