Route 197 Diner - Litchfield

Nice little place for breakfast! Great service, delicious food, and very clean. Enjoyed our morning!!!

Decent little diner off of Route 197, hence the name. We were told to have a seat. We ordered our drinks and the young lady brought them out. Then she forgot about us and helped the next people who came in. Another young lady came over and took our order. The lemonade was basically yellow water. I didn't drink it. My husband didn't like his orange juice, but I did. He ordered a soda and I drank his orange juice. Our food came out. I got Corned beef hash and eggs. My husband got a BLT and fries. My food was really good. It was a good temp and tasted good. My toast was very crunchy. Very crunchy. I don't think they ever came by to check on us, and we never got refills. Service is ok, the place is a cute diner and the prices are really good. It was worth the stop, but it's not a place we'll be coming to an a regular basis. Most of the customers are regulars and kinda act like they own the place.

Fast friendly service. Great food for a great price. I have never left there hungry.

Some of the best homemade food around. Kasie her husband have really improved this restaurant since taking over! Amazing breakfast, lunch Friday night specials. EVERYTHING is homemade!!!!

The spinach, feta, and mushroom omelette was one of the best I've ever tasted.
