Dragon - Littlehampton

After some time, we decided to return to The Dragon, but not much had changed since our last visit. The starters were tasty and arrived quickly, but things started to go downhill from there. As a diabetic, I need to eat at regular times, but they cleared our table before we had finished our starters. It took 20 minutes for hot plates to arrive and another 20-40 minutes for our mains to be served. The food was good and the waitresses were busy, but the wait for our meals was just too long. Unfortunately, there are many other places to eat and I will not be returning to The Dragon. It's a shame to see that it has declined in quality.

I went to dinner with my mother-in-law and had a frustrating experience. It took 20 minutes for our first round of drinks to arrive, followed by another 30 minutes for our starters. It then took an hour and a half for only half of our main dishes to come out. When we mentioned the long wait and the fact that takeaway orders were prioritized over us, the staff told us we were no longer welcome. We were shocked by their response. In the end, they tried to charge us a 10% service fee, but we refused to pay. Overall, it was a disappointing and slow dining experience.

Tonight, everyone at the restaurant experienced terrible service. I was extremely disappointed to see takeaway orders being served every 5 minutes while we waited an hour for our food. We ended up paying £275 for food we didn't even enjoy. When I refused to pay the service fee, I was told I couldn't return to the restaurant. Not that it matters, as I won't be going back anyway. Got a lovely takeaway from here, very clean food. By this I mean that the noodles amd rice were not cooked in old fat, therefore clean. Very tasty Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30

Amazing food great staff just needs a bit of refurb. Food makes up for it though tbh Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
