Crave Burgers - Littleton

Great burgers and shakes. Sub par service but it's a quick burger joint so the service is nothing to get feathers ruffled about in my opinion. Crave Real Burgers is a CO hot spot and has a menu packed full with unique award winning burgers and shakes. We started off our meal with a couple of starters the Umami Fries and Fried Jalapenos. Umami Fries so. freaking. tasty. These sweet potato fries are drizzled in teriyaki and dynamite sauce then dusted with parmesan and green onions. I got a side of mayo to dip these guys in as well 10/10 would recommend. The Fried Jalapenos are marinated and hand breaded to order with a side of spicy jam. Standard side here and a classic starter. If you prefer something less spicy, Crave also offers Fried Pickles. Burger time Ross went with The Popper and I ordered the Dim Sum Daffy. Both burgers were massive and the meat was cooked perfectly juicy delicious. The Popper is made with a fresh 6 oz Colorado proud beef patty then topped with tempura fried cream cheese, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, onion, chipotle mayo, ketchup, and guacamole. Guys, this burger was SINFUL. I am a sucker for jalapeno poppers so the tempura fried cream cheese atop the generous heaping of jalapenos had my name written alllll over it. Ross got annoyed I kept stealing bites of his dinner haha. The Dim Sum Daffy is made with a fresh 6 oz ground duck patty and then topped with tempura ginger cream cheese, green onion, cilantro, hoisin sweet and sour sauce, and onion. I went for this burger because I wanted to try out something new and I had never had a duck burger before! This burg was super unique and I really, really liked it. It was V tasty burger, Chinese style, and the hoison sauce was salty and rich with a subtle sour/sweet kick. For Shakes, we ordered the S'More and Oreo Speedwagon. The S'More is made with cinnamon sugar, roasted marshmallow, chocolate chips, graham crackers, hot fudge, Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, and vanilla ice cream. This shake was cinnamon y goodness with marshmallows and graham crackers throughout the entire shake. Loved it. The Oreo Speedwagon is made with oreos, coffee, hot fudge, and vanilla ice cream. The Oreo Speedwagon had no shortage of full blown Oreo's in it's mix. Loved this one even more!

Let me be honest when I say that I visited purely for the adult milkshakes, but I found so much more here! This is a Colorado joint for sure! As soon as you walk in you are faced with all kinds of decor an staff apparel proclaiming love for CO. The vibe is not fancy at all....definite burger joint, but if you are adventurous, get ready for some awesome tastes. First thing, first; adult milk shake was everything I hoped it would be. I ordered the Millionaire w/ amaretto in it. It pretty much had a great mix of bite and sweetness. To eat I ordered the Love Stinks burger. This was a sizable burger. Garlic spread, stinky cheese, onion crisps...just plain goodness. Worth every bite! For my side, I ordered the Brussel Sprouts. They were cooked in w/ some sausage as well. Theses were truly welcomed and tasty addition to the meal Definitely visit this place!

If you ever find your way here, please don't be that guy and get a salad or a sandwich. They have these on the menu, but if you're here, PLEASE get a burger. They have quite the selection: regular degular beef burgers in the Classics section, but also some pretty interesting combinations if you're the Adventurous burger lover like the Nutty Professor (peanut butter, bacon, jalapenos, and onion). Let me tell you about the burger I got the Sin City. Tempura fried sharp white cheddar (yes, you heard me. you don't need me to tell you that this was good), grilled onions, candied bacon (and when they say candied, they mean it), guacamole, lettuce, ketchup. Subbed their regular fries for the Garlic Parmesan Fries which was extra yummy. Everything from the fried cheese to the candied bacon was BIG my patty was juicy and cooked well. My coworker went all in and ordered the 3 Little Pigs burger ham, bacon, and pulled pork, cheese, onion straws, bbq, and ketchup. Don't forget, this is still a burger, so they managed to stuff a patty in there too. Crazy big burgers that were both crazy good. This is a once every few months kinda treat and most definitely a no buttoned pants zone. If you're craving a big ol' burger for a cheat meal, this is a great place to start.

I do love a great burger but this place is not one that I wIll be running back to. I did enjoy the truffle fries and had a long desired chocolate malt, but shortly afterwards, I realized I had made some frivolous, not great choices as my stomach gurgled and expanded way beyond my normal comfort. My burger was dry and not very full of flavor. Perhaps I should be happy since maybe that meant they either use lean beef or cooked all the fat out. But the malt, though lumpy and not well mixed, still ended up filling me so I had half a burger and fries to enjoy another time. Service was decent and very accommodating. The environment just didn 't seem in my opinion to be one where you have servers and get waited on. Seemed more like a place to order at the counter kind of place. Well I am so glad we gave it a try since it is a spot where I can quell any future CRAVE-ings for chocolate malts or truffle fries, but will have to be ready for the fat -ness afterwards : . So likely won 't be frequenting it very often.

Crave has amazing burgers! Our new go-to spot in the neighborhood for a burger. We got the umami fries (so, so good) and the flaming tiki burger with a turkey patty and on a bed of mixed greens instead of the bun. Left feeling so happy and full, and I can't wait to come back!
