Long Tieng Barbeque - Live Oak

Absolutely fantastic food! I ordered the bourbon beef with rice, and the portion was very generous, especially since it was a lunch special. I also tried the Thai tea, which I had never heard of before. Wow! It had a creamy texture, a hint of coconut, and was rich and indulgent! I'd come back just for the tea, but the food is definitely bringing me back as well!

The hostess is the coolest restaurant owner I know! The food is fantastic, featuring unique original recipes that highlight spicy tropical Asian flavors. It's a cozy little spot, making you feel like you've been invited over for a meal by a friend. Once you visit, you’ll feel like you and Kongsy will be friends for life!

Amazingly good food (both Asian and TX BBQ)! Good quantity for price. Good tangy BBQ sauce. Nice helpful owner/staff. Cons/nitpicks? A few... 1) no free water, you have to buy bottled water. That to me is annoying. 2) they were temporarily gone when we first arrived at 4:30 so we had to go and come back at 5. Not sure how common this is. 3) I 'd like to see a slightly better side selection; corn would be nice. 4) They cook the food after you order which is good in a way but it takes a while. Keep that in mind if you 're hungry. Not really a con but definitely a hole in the wall atmosphere. Overall yeah I will definitely go back!
