Mary Maggies - Live Oak

They were very friendly and prompt service! Their food was delicious and comes in large servings! Mary was very kind and the service was a little slow. It took a bit for the food to come but when it did it was delicious!

They advertise as serving breakfast until 2:00p. Their menu even says so. We arrived around 12:30 no breakfast. Disappointment.

A coworker and I decided to try this place for lunch. We arrived and noticed the daily special sign outside as we entered the little restaurant. When the server approached us to take our order, we were told that they ran out of the meat for the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich which happened to be one of the specials listed outside. Mind you it was 11:30am. My coworker then decided to order a different sandwich but the restaurant was out of the ingredients for that too. We finally decided on cheeseburgers. When the server brought the food out to us, we immediately noticed that only the top bun was placed on the grill. Very weird, right? Who only grills or warms one part of the hamburger bun?!?! Anyway, we were highly disappointed and will not recommend this place to our family and friends. I did not state the day my coworker and I had lunch here because that's irrelevant but for that curious person who keeps sending me msgs it was on June 16th. I posted this review and the Monterey one on Monday because that's when I added the Yelp app.

Clean and happy restaurant. Very good fresh food. Eggs cooked exactly right. Owner Mary and waitress are super great!
