Beach Hut Deli - Livermore

We called ahead last night to confirm that we could place a large order and pick it up around 11, as we had a meeting. Despite being told our order wouldn't be ready until 11:45, it was actually ready by 11:20, which was a pleasant surprise.

I recently moved to Livermore and searched for a deli on Google, which led me to this place. I ordered the Rubies sandwich, which was huge and packed full of delicious meats and herbs. It was excellent.

The sandwiches are tasty, but pricey. We waited about 25 minutes even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The only person who seemed cheerful was the man who served us. We will return, but for the amount of money you pay here, you would expect the staff to be a bit friendlier.

I left the highway to eat for lunch. A nice place in downtown Livermore. I have the high tide on wheat, which was very rich. Great pastrami! My wife got the Spicolli they enjoyed enormously. Nice people and a great place to spend an afternoon.

Overall this place makes good sandwiches. Good quality and size. Flavor wasn't 100% what my wife and I hoped and expected (tad bland but still decent). We would go back though. I recommend sticking with a 6 size. Comes out closer to 8-9 . The price for 9 is a bit too much in my opinion.
