Ordered my regular drink, to be told we don't do that, if its not on the menu you can't have it. I said I can explain how it is made, not interested. Contented myself walking 200ft to a Starbucks, drink isn't on their menu either but I sat out and enjoyed a Dirty iced chai with soy...... Perhaps teach the barista's customer service and how to actually be a batista. I won't be back!
This particular Caffé Nero is pretty standard in respect of its food/drink offering. However, queueing was non-existent today, meaning I was served my pot of tea immediately, which made for a great experience! This branch of Caffé Nero isn't massive on the inside, in terms of capacity, however it always tends to be quite quiet, meaning if you're in need of a coffee and you want to get away from the crowds, I would highly recommend this specific Caffé Nero outlet! The only disadvantage I can think of is some of the upholstery has seen better days, but this more or less is a trivial point!
Ordered food and went to collect. Was told upon arrival they didn't have it. No apology and very rude dismissive obnoxious with no customer service skills. Wasted tunnel fare and petrol to collect. Refused to give name or receipt. Felt shaken by this negative experience. If this person been like this with me, they are definitely like that with others.
Before the 3rd lockdown hit my twin brother Stephen and I decided to have a day out in town, one of the 1st places we visited was Caffe Nero were we planned out our day ahead. Housed in a wonderful looking Victorian building, the interior is superb, cosy sums it up best, a glass fronted serving bar dominates the main room, typical Caffe Nero decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe,a very cool place indeed. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, we ordered cola's each which were served iced cold, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our drinks. I really enjoy this Caffe Nero, the staff here are superb, vibe is excellent and location is cool, its such a great starting point to explore our beautiful and welcoming city. We really enjoyed our cola drinks in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time . This Caffe Nero outlet is easy to locate along Whitechapel. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, Open from 7am. Saturday, Open from 8am. Sunday, Open from 8.30am. A great Caffe Nero outlet, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and when the 3rd national lockdown is over, hopefully mid February.
What a way to relax on New Year’s Day . A quick visit for a lovely hot drink and cake . Staff are lovely, friendly, welcoming and quick. Atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Definitely my favorite place to visit .
