Had a lovely time here. Cracking atmosphere with great live music. Staff were very helpful. Definitely go back on our next trip to Liverpool.

The service from the bouncers was unacceptable! I’ve heard about bouncers having a power trip but this was something else. The unacceptable conditions of the establishment meant a friend’s shoes kept falling off, when asking a member of staff to tidy an area they were asked to leave from another member of staff who wasn’t being spoken to. Instead of having a 30 second conversation of the scenario, they were kicked out and a photograph taken of them without their permission. When I asked for the reasoning behind the dismissal, I was told it was too loud to have a conversation…despite speaking to this specific bouncer for a few moments outside to discuss the matter, the same privilege wasn’t given to my friend. After asking for their identification to take this further, I was declined. When attempting to take a photograph as is my right after asking for identification a light was shone at my camera to distort the image…as if they had something to hide. All this could have been rectified if a conversation between the two parties had been had but apparently they don’t have time for a 30 second conversation…or enough time to clean the property. Disgusting.

Great place, very big, LIVE MUSIC, this is always a bonus on a night out. The Guiness is very good. The cocktails are also very good. Worth a visit.

My partner was refused entry because he was wearing sneakers on a Monday night!!! However, the restaurant was filled with young white girls wearing sneakers!! How outrageous!! My partner is Pakistani and I believe this was the first time I have witnessed discrimination firsthand! It seems to be acceptable to be white and wear sneakers, but not if you are brown.

Do not recommend paying £12.40 for a pint of Malibu and Coke at this restaurant. This price seems like either a deliberate mistake or a blatant rip-off. There are plenty of other places to go in Liverpool, so I suggest avoiding this one.
