The piri chips and chicken burger are delicious, the chef is friendly, and the staff are attentive. Don't be swayed by negative reviews from others who expect immediate, hot food delivered across the city. For a true taste of this place, dine in or pick up your order yourself.

I recently enjoyed a delicious meal at Piri Piri Express, including onion rings, barbecued sweet corn on the cob, sweet potato fries, and a double cheeseburger. It took me nearly two hours to receive my order. I called after an hour and was told it would be ready in 7 minutes, but it ended up taking 40 minutes longer. This restaurant struggles to handle busy times like Friday and Saturday nights, or during popular events like football games. The food arrived lukewarm and I was not impressed. I will not be ordering from here again, especially because the staff showed no remorse for the long wait.

I got my third job tonight for this takeaway and it was excellent as always, got a fresh chicken putta that was beautiful and fresh! my partner got crispy chicken pack, which was also really fresh and tasty! Beautiful large portions, right quality eating! some of the negative reviews here must be fake or have no warning! because all three command from mine, where consistent! to soon again. ps try their homemade cakes!

I had not expected much, because this kind of chickens in liverpool is actually overcooked, but when I picked up in my hopes. solid menu that does not deviate from mostly Portuguese inspired foods. have the half. chicken medium hot, fries,.coleslaw and a dose of humol, all for about one tenner. I am honest, really impressed by the huh and even the koleslaw (the sumol fizzy drink is a given.) great grill, not over boiled on the inside and beautifully carburized on the outside. only small disappointment were the chips standard bought frits with a little Piri salt on the top. but that is what it is, and that must be 5 stars. also serving and cooking was very friendly.
