My wife, who follows a Gluten Free diet, was disappointed with the limited menu options available to her. She ended up having to settle for a salmon salad, which was poorly executed. Additionally, the only dessert option was a fruit scone, which was not even available. Our friends and I found our meals to be okay, but we were unimpressed with the overall quality, considering the hotel's standard. My wife expressed her dissatisfaction to the restaurant manager, who promised to address the issue at a management meeting. To our delight, the next time we dined at the restaurant, my wife's dietary preferences were accommodated without any hassle. While we appreciate the effort, it is disappointing that a confrontation was necessary to ensure proper service for a legitimate dietary requirement.
The brasserie provides a variety of fresh dishes that are reasonably priced. The gammon with a duck egg on top was exceptional, and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked with excellent chips.
The restaurant offers both fixed price menus and individual dishes, with a variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts to choose from. All the dishes are well-prepared and delicious. Be sure to save room for the sticky toffee pudding if you enjoy it!
We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant the staff are warm and friendly and the menu although limited was very good, the choices would suit most people.
A bit of staff training needed I think, staff were pleasant and apologetic but running around like headless chickens!
