The pastry is very delicious indeed I mean you paying 1 pound can't expect luxury. The best one is cheese and onion. The coffee is not the best it's very soft and if you order a capuchino for example, it's more milk than coffee because coffee is not strong enough nor the best quality. Donuts are delicious and other savoury pastries
We came to liverpool to visit family and stopped here on one of our first days and it was amazing, the food isn't compromised by the price. Plus both my kids absolutely loved it, we also visited the one in St John's, all together we went 4 time for breakfast. Wish they would bring it to Hull.
There is plenty of choice for a quick snack/bite to eat. Typically, as in all of the pound bakery stores, you can but sausage rolls, pasties, pies, cakes and drinks..... There is also a breakfast menu. Priced here are very reasonable and consequently it gets very busy. The staff are extremely busy but helpful.
Great value for money on the pasties and pies side. Not a cake person so can't comment but they do look good. New coffee machine installed since last visit a few months ago and what a difference; real nice brew in proper cardboard cups, much better than the small plastic ones they had before. Only criticism, like most Pound Bakery shops is the layout inside; getting your stuff at one counter and than having to fight your way through lost souls and inviting goods in the middle of the floor before you can cash out with the register person.
