The peroni was awful and the bar itself which was clearly understaffed was serviced by the worst attitude bar staff I’ve witnessed. They seemed to take great pride in not serving people or blatantly ignoring customers who are waiting to spend lots of money. We spent approx £250 over a 6 hour period inc food in our party of 8. If you’re happy to lose customers like us then you’ve succeeded and I will never spend a penny ever again as there are many vastly superior bars who are quite willing to take our hard earned money. It’s interesting as we came as a large party last Xmas and it was a struggle to get in………this year it wasn’t in fact it was quiet. Maybe other customers have the same opinion.
I want to thank the team for taking care of us during our work night out yesterday. We had a great table and excellent service.
The staff were good but clearly running a bar that needs 4/5 people and not 2 doing food and drinks Neck oil was £7 and guinesss was £6.10 outrageous. Food took 90 mins which seemed like a mistake and they did refund which was fine
There are much better bars in Liverpool. We were here on the 2nd of December all afternoon. I am happy to pay £14-£15 for a pint (IPA) and a glass of wine when it is a decent drink at least (the wine in this case), but this was horrible cheap rubbish (Spanish plonk comes to mind). I tried both the Pinot and Sauvignon as they were all that they served. However, more importantly than that, the service from the bar staff was terrible. I have never seen such a miserable, unsmiling lot. Particularly bad were the girl with arm tattoos and the lad who looked about 12. Very rude.
Me and my wife stopped in here for a couple of pints and for some food while visiting Liverpool recently. I don't really have an adventurous beer range that I go for so I was just on the Guinness, however it was impressive how many different beers and ales they had on tap too. The only downside is how expensive it was. I think we were paying well over £6 a pint. We also ate, however I picked poorly. I had the pizza and it was good quality but flavourless. My wife loved her food though. Definitely worth a visit, but it's not a cheap night out
