The Old Stables - Liverpool

It had been a while since our last visit, but we dined outside with friends last night and were delighted to find a new menu. The meal was exceptional, and the location was stunning. Our waiter, Richard, was friendly and very attentive. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We had a lovely meal here tonight, a perfect way to wind down after a busy week. The menu was impressive with plenty of choices, and although we had to wait an hour for our food, it was absolutely delicious when it arrived at our table. The staff were friendly and made our visit enjoyable. However, I wouldn’t recommend bringing your dog on a rainy day unless you’re prepared to sit outside, even if it's under a heated parasol, to enjoy your meal. As someone who shares information about dog-friendly eateries in the Liverpool and Wirral area, I was disappointed to find that this restaurant isn’t dog-friendly, despite their website claiming they are outdoors. Unfortunately, we had to leave our furry friend in the car. We also asked the manager to update the website.

I enjoyed a lovely meal with friends. The portions of fish and chips were a bit on the small side, but they were delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, and there's an option to sit outside when the weather is nice. It's a great place to meet up, and the staff was efficient during a quiet afternoon.

Great place to sit outside, with covered tables and outdoor heating. The staff is friendly, the food is good! Food in the indoor area is now also available; when we visited a warm day, the front of the restaurant was open for fresh air.

Went here for our Sunday dinner with our mum. Fantastic menu and great prices. Staff were lovely and helpful. You can dine inside or outside. Brilliant food, our mum’s 88 and she loved it
