William Gladstone Pub - Liverpool

Advertise one price, charge another, beware! When challenged staff said advertised price was incorrect

When vsiting Liverpool we always stop off for food and drinks at the William Gladstone pub.We visited on a Sunday so it was always going to be busy especially with Liverpool at home.We soon ordered drinks and sat back and enjoyed the live football on offer.We decided to have some food and ordered via the app it saved us about £6 from the menu price.The food soon arrived I had the fish&chips and my partner the curry both meals were very tatsy and well presented but we could not believe the size of the naan bread it was about a quarter of the size of the one you would get in Wetherspoons.Will be back in the future just to laugh at the size of the naan bread.

My tour group went to this restaurant for dinner. I had recently had surgery to remove my gall bladder, so I needed a low fat meal. The chef and waitress were very accommodating and grilled me some delicious chicken. The rest of the group enjoyed bangers and mash for dinner.

Came here with my partner mum and auntie.what a excellent place staff really friendly and burgers was amazing me and my partner are burger addicts and the cheese n bacon burger was excellent so nice and the sauce reminding me of a big mac...mum and auntie had chicken and salad which they said was fresh and lovely...will be back as the prices are really good If u want to feel full and have a good time this is the place to come

We where looking somewhere for lunch after a cavern mystery coach tour. Spotted here and seen there menu just what seven of us needed. Four adults, three kids. Two staff working both where amazing guy behind the bar and the girl served us. We must of had her feet walked off. The kids loved the food that much wanted seconds. Us adults really enjoyed our meals to. We ordered rump steak, chips, chicken burger chips, madras, rice, saug, chip, burgers, chips, desserts, kids ice cream. Really enjoyed our visit and enjoyed it. Thats to the staff.
