I have been a loyal and satisfied customer of The Bay Leaf in Pumpherston for years, but my recent takeaway experience was extremely disappointing. The food was cold and chewy, and it took the restaurant a week to offer me a 50% discount on my next meal. This level of customer service was unacceptable, and I have decided not to return as a customer. Overall, I would rate their takeout service and food quality as 1 out of 5.

We had a fantastic meal here last week. It was our first time dining at this restaurant, but we would definitely recommend it. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Butter Chicken, Lamb Punjabi Handi, and Chicken Biryani.

Ordered the prawn curry but I wasn’t keen on the prawns, I felt they were over cooked and tasted rubbery which put me off, also sauce was a bit too runny for me. I will go back to my usual place which is The Dine in Broxburn.
